Tour Itinerary
DAY 01 AIRPORT / Kandy.
Upon arrival at the Colombo International Airport, you will meet our representative and then proceed to Kandy.
On our way, we will visit the Spice and Herbal Gardens. Since the Bronze Age, Sri Lanka is exporting spices around the world, and even Roman emperors and kings of Judea used the traditional medicinal herbs and spices from this island. Here you will be able to learn about this long-lasting industry.
Upon our arrival in Kandy, we will attend the Kandyan Dance Show. This cultural heritage show consists of traditional dances that developed over centuries from religious rituals and as an art form.
After the show, we will visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa. Also known as the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, this temple is one of the holiest places of Buddhist worship in Sri Lanka and home of the sacred relic of Buddha’s tooth.
A direct trip from Bandaranaike International Airport to Kandy typically takes 2 hours and 30 minutes, and you will stay overnight at Hotel on the Bed & Breakfast basis, with breakfast included in price.

Day 2 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

Transfer from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya.
The first stop on our way we will make in Peradeniya, where the Royal Botanic Garden is located. These gardens were constructed in the place where the royal palace gardens of one of the first Kandyan kings once stood. Today, it is home to more than 4,000 different plant species. Among them, the most famous is the collection of orchids.
Continuing on our way, we will visit a Tea Factory. The cool climate of Sri Lanka’s mountains is perfect for slow-growing tea trees, and since colonial times some of the best tea in the world was cultivated here.
On the guided tour you will be able to learn about this industry and enjoy the unique aromas of this beverage made from the local products.
Our next stop will be the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, one of the central characters of epic Ramayana. Just a short drive from the temple is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Sri Lanka, the Ramboda Ella. Over this tiered waterfall, water slopes in the shape of letter Y.
The temperate climate of the tea country is also favorable for some vegetables and fruits that are an unusual sight on a tropical island. We will visit the Strawberry Farm, where you can enjoy the aroma of these wholesome fruits.
Arriving in Nuwara Eliya, we will spend the rest of the day on Lake Gregory. Since it was dammed in the late 19th century, this artificial lake was a popular leisure spot. Here you can enjoy trout fishing, boating, or a romantic stroll on the banks of the lake.

Day 3 – Nuwara Eliya to Bentota

Transfer from Nuwara Elliya to Bentota.
On our way, we will visit the St. Clair’s Falls, also known as the Little Niagara of Sri Lanka, and Devon Falls often called the Veil of the Valley.
Our next stop will be in the town of Kosgoda, where we will embark on a one-hour River Boat Safari. This boat ride will take us through the marshy mangrove forest on the banks of Madu Ganga River.

Day 4 – Bentota
Breakfast at the Hotel.
we will spend the day enjoying the many attractions of this town.
Bentota is a resort town famous for beach activities. The crystal-clear waters that splash on the golden sands of its beaches is inviting for all lovers of snorkeling and scuba diving. But the town is also one of the most popular locations for more exciting water sports, surfing, wakeboarding, banana boat and sofa rides; are just some of them. Its golden beaches are facing the west, thus providing some of the loveliest sunset vistas on the island.

Day 5 – Bentota to Airport
Breakfast at the Hotel,
Proceed to Airport.
Along the way, we will pass through Colombo and have a sightseeing tour of some of its landmarks. The Old Fort area, the National Museum of Sri Lanka, Streets of Pettah neighborhood, Gangaramaya Temple, Beira Lake, Independence Memorial Hall, and Galle Face Green; are some of the places we will visit.
